Set up a centre

Step by step

  1. 1
    Register your centre
Add the centre name, type of service, address and (optionally) your NQF service approval number. Opening hours start at 6:30am – 6:30pm; change them under Locations.
  2. 2
    Add your rooms
Under Rooms, add each room with its age group (babies, toddlers, kinder/preschool) and, if you like, the minimum qualification for relief in that room.
  3. 3
    We approve you
Our team checks every centre before its first booking, usually within one business day, and agrees your rates.
  4. 4
    Book cover
Choose the room and the shift (Opener 6:30–3:00, Middle, Closer 10:00–6:30 or Full day). We offer it to verified educators who meet the qualification, starting with those experienced in that age group.

What happens behind the scenes

  • Every educator's ACECQA-approved qualification, first aid (with anaphylaxis and asthma), child protection training and working with children check (or teacher registration for ECTs) is checked by a person before they can be offered work.
  • A shift that needs a Diploma is never offered to a Certificate III educator. An ECT can cover an educator's shift; an educator can't cover an ECT's.
  • Ratios and your ECT attendance requirements stay yours to plan. We match to the qualification you ask for.
