How a principal, centre director or registration body can confirm a PD certificate is genuine.

Verify a certificate

Step by step

  1. 1
    Find the number
    It's printed on the certificate and looks like PD-7KQ4-M2XD-5. The QR code on the certificate opens the check directly.
  2. 2
    Enter it
    Go to the verification page and type the number. Capitals and dashes don't matter.
  3. 3
    Compare
    The page shows the name, course and completion date we hold. They should match the certificate exactly.

What happens behind the scenes

  • Numbers include a check character, so most typos are caught straight away.
  • A revoked certificate shows as revoked, never as valid.
